Losing the Emulator Window When Game Starts

When I select the ISO to begin playing the game: the window for the ePSXe disappears. When I close out of my game, the emulator is still running in the background and I have to manually end the process. I'm not sure if it's because the ePSXe window closes out or not because the ePSXe processes keep adding up if I start it again and don't close it manually beforehand.

Is there a fix to this? It is not an issue if there isn't, it is just a bit tedious after awhile.
