I've owned at some point all the consoles I currently emulate.
I currently still have my PS2, DC, and Wii/GC but the very old ones like the snes, nes, genesis, and gba i no longer have since i gave them away to my younger cousins a long time ago.
The main reason why I play ps2, wii/gc on emulation is the ability to replay the games at high res. Otherwise I wouldnt bother with emulation and still play them on a console.

Hmm, can I change my vote? I didn't read through all the options before I answered. Should've chosen the 3rd option.

NES: Can't read cartridges anymore.
SNES: Can't read cartridges anymore.
PS1: Lens broken.
PS2: Still working.

I have owned some of the consoles I've emulated. Two Playstation 2's...a FAT and SLIM. I sold them both. Emulation is good enough that I feel I didn't need to own the two consoles anymore.

i own all the consoles i emulate but playing them at native resolution on a calibrated display with excellent geometry and a clean uncompressed digital output at native resolutions is the bread and butter, hell i even ripped the nestopia rgb palettes and put them in Virtualnes(which is much better btw and lets me use pal resolution of 256x240 instead of the cutoff the 256x224 ntsc so i see the whole picture instead of having 10% cut off)

I don't own a 3D0, Saturn, or Gamecube, although I have a Wii that supports Gamecube play.

Consoles I've emulated:
Sega Genesis
PS1
PS2
Wii
Arcade machines(with MAME)

Consoles I own or had in the past
Sega genesis model 1 and 2
Ps1
PS2 (not having it anymore)

Well, the funny thing is that when I used PCSX2, I will admit, I used hacked BIOS(I know it's against the rules to mention it, but it's all in the past) but then I bought my PS2 and stopped using PCSX2 anymore... I don't have PS2 either but I dumped the bios

Yes siree! I love my games and consoles so much, and emulation is the perfect way keeping both the games and consoles in mint condition without even touching them after dumping the games.
