i thought there was just a movie that was made of it. edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eureka_Seven:_AO hmm was unaware of this. i'm not sure what to think of it; e7 is in my top 3 for favorite anime, idk if a sequel about eureka's son will live up to the greatness of the original. i'll have to give it a shot sometime after its finished.

Hmm, season 2 of Queen's Blade has been a huge improvement over the first one, although I'm only at episode 9 now... The battles are now well made and while it could be just that I'm getting used to it but I feel that even the fanservice has been toned down a bit... It's no longer forcing it as much but don't get me wrong... There is still a lot of it, it's just well made now! And the plot has actually turned quite interesting... I am suprised, I'm beginning to like it. I wonder if the "quality" is keeping up in Rebellion(the ongoing season, not sure if it's third or fourth actually)... I will most likely watch it regardless.

^I knew you'd like it more from S2 XD, S1 is more of an introduction, with ep 2 having the spotlight. Gotta love Aldra/Aldora in S2 though :3. Also before jumping to Queen's Blade rebelion make sure to watch the ovas first, they detail the ending of the S2 and connect the events of the first series to Rebelion, the order is this: Queen`s Blade OVA: Utsukushiki Toushi-tachi (last ova is great and makes it worth it :3) Queen`s Blade: Rebellion OVA (1st ep introduction for the main heroine Annelotte and the starting changes that lead to Rebelion and 2nd episode introduction of another side char (Siggy) which left me with a meh, but the first ova is well worth it).

And I'm pretty sure you don't mean the specials on Blu-Ray! They were named as OVA's in my case...Though I got Diablo III today so it might take some time... Or I just sleep less! ![]() But I have to say, the anime really pulled itself out with the second season. The story and most of the characters were much more interesting than in some of the "more normal" series these days... And some of the characters were still left as a mystery, though I guess the OVA's explain some of the things. Funny thing is, my favourite character was definetly Nanael!

^Mine where Aldra, Alleynne and Tomoe, i'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the ova's XD (and i mean does i mentioned not the fan service extra ova's that's bundled with the series and story ova's), there was just something about Aldra that was charming i especially liked the way she speaked, As for Rebellion personally i wont watch the TV series till Blu-ray release, since something tells me the censoring is hard in that one .

Tomoe was kinda boring to me actually, although she did get better after, well that... The most suprising event in the series and I think her story was maybe one of the best but her character was just so "pure". Alleyenne on the other hand wasn't really in it that much, not sure if she is in the OVA's but I never really got a good idea of her character. She wasn't bad though, especially her relationship with Nowa was pretty funny.

I do agree that the show needed more Alleynne but i did get a good idea of her from the series alone and i did enjoy her little arguments with Echidna and how Echidna called her: "the one thousand year old virgin" . She is important to the overall story though, but you'll see that in the ova's :P. As for Tomoe her pureness will actually be what makes the ova's more interesting . Last but not least as for Nanael she's more strong then you think :P.Here's the official preview for the first set of ova's i uploaded (NSFW): Spoiler:
I think i'm going to rewatch a bit of the last ova's myself now .PS: the theme song (not the be confused with op/ed) for queen's blade is quite awesome and catchy.

Okay I dig Excalibur and all but Episode 17 was entirely too much, especially considering how episode 16 ended.

Excalibur is cannon, but all but one of his appearances are filler in the anime. EDIT:Typo ><

I'm fascinated with watching Medaka Box in the same way as watching a train wreck. It's still by Gainax, right? :/
