Then you don't "own" it, you only have access to one and for all you know by the time you get to it it could be gone because of someone else. Not having a gun IN YOUR POSSESSION is the same as not having one at all.

Also, surely you would be at least a little like the below video in the case of a loved one becoming a zombie...

Thinking about it you're right... however may i ask you something???? how much of a help would be a gun in my house if i have first to reach my home which may be full of zombies on the outside?? i guess a gun in the outside would help me more still... obviously if i get one as you said

Not to talk about my personal life here but in my 31 years i've seen a lot of loved person die and you believe it or not i'm not the kind of person that get shocked in such situations... instead i do what i have to do. If a loved person turned into a zombie then that "thing" in front of me isn't the person i loved. Sadly you don't know me much in person but while i'm a very nice and lovely person in rough situations i'm a person without feelings as i've shown several times where the last one was 7 years ago.

Its not that we take it to seriously but if we all answer without honesty then there's no point in taking it in the first place, its no fun and looses its purpose.

PS: taking into account the latest statements your survival rate seems to be actually 58%-61% :P

Its great that DS brought this quiz here but i personally believe those quiz doesn't really show the real percentage a person have to survive such a Apocalypse. In fact if something like that happens a very small amount of humans will survive(if any). The thing is such quiz miss a bunch of important points that will increase the survival percentage a person has. The reason why i personally believe i may have *Some* chances is because i know myself very well since i've lived some extreme situations in my life where my life was in danger or the life of a loved person. Thanks God i got blessed with nerves like iron in such situations and i'm able to keep a clear mind while most of the people enter into shock-modus.

Why i'm so sure about that??? several years ago there was a trouble between one of my cousins and a guy. After my cousin almost kicked his ass he was able to runaway and came back with about 10 guys with knife and machete to kill him. I was comming back from buying some stuff and a guy told me my cousin was in trouble so i ran to defend him but realized the small chances we had against them... so i told him to run between the small ways between the houses(very typical in DR) to increase our chance. The guys then thought of splitting and going different ways to catch us and that gave us the chance to beat the very few guys we met before we were able to scape. We were wounded and so few of them were too but as you can see i'm still alive... my cousin survived that case but as i posted a while ago he got murdered few months ago after getting shot in a fight in DR.

Now the question is.... how many ngemu members here would survive such a situation???

I admit i cheated in the quiz by saying i own a gun which increase my chances to survive but like in the case i explained either me or my cousin were armed yet we survived. Such things can't be measured by a quiz which is what i was trying to explain as they miss a lot of important points where the most important one in my opinion is to be able to keep a clear mind in extreme situations which is something not everyone is capable of doing.

In the case of my wife she have a very strong personality but her heart is weak and so her nerves... however i believe she would do the right thing in a extreme situation and probably will pick up any weapon she gets to defend herself and our daughter.

Still you guys have a point there and was my bad for not taking it serious. Sorry for that.

i got 43%, but its difficult answering some of the questions.
for example, i don't have any loved ones in the area i currently live in, they're in another state thousands of miles away.
i answered the questions as if they lived near me; but if it really happened in my area, i wouldn't have to worry about them.
