Naturally, Stay Night's production values were decent....but no where near Zero.

You said something about Archer vs Beserker?

finished watching season 2 of Arakawa Under the Bridge.
I'm pretty disappointed in that they started some "lets go to venus" plot, but by the end of the season they abandoned it without concluding what happens.

also i'm not sure how to interpret the very-final scene:
Spoiler:
its the circus act with Recruit as the viewer, and all the Bridge-residents as the actors in the circus.
i don't know if this means that the whole series was a dream Recruit had from seeing this beautiful circus act, and falling in love with the girl dancer (which is nino).
Or if this is just an analogy which Recruit is using to say he loves watching his friends under the bridge.

if its the former then it makes me dislike the season even more, since everything was madeup in Recruits' mind.

----------------------

@Irukapooka
I also recommend "Another"

Just watched the new Berserk "movie"... Pretty awesome and though I still don't like CGI, I have to say that for once, it was actually good. But still, the old style animation just works so well with darker, grittier and brutal animations like Berserk so I kinda wish they had stayed on that...

Other than that, the only thing I think was done poorly was that it went on too fast. If I hadn't seen the original series(and read the manga!) and had only seen this, I don't think I would have as strong attachement to the characters as I do now... Still, it's the same awesome Berserk some of us love and Griffith is still just as gay as he was then... If not more so actually. Best scene would definetly be:

(using spoiler tags just in case someone hasn't seen the original or read the manga)
Spoiler:
When Gatts or Guts accidentally stabs Adonis( What a name...), the son of the noble a**hole he was supposed to assassinate. That moment was, and I use this word rarely, absolutely beautiful! I mean, it was perfect in setting the mood on it... Almost makes me forgive the use of CGI, almost...

Now I'm just annoyed that I have to wait pretty long time to see the next one!

Started to rewatch bits parts and episodes of Queen's Blade S1 (then moving to S2), damn episode 2 sure was good, i remember that even then it left quite the impression on me and was what made continue to try and watch the show, gotta love Tomoe :3.

Another place where i really have to give credit to the show is the sound department the ost really fits well in.

Maybe I should try watching Queens Blade again... I've seen the first episodes of the first two seasons but I just couldn't keep watching. Maybe I should retry, the newest season looks kinda interesting.

Well except for episode 2 of S1 (which i liked a lot) and some characters which i fancied Queen's Blade didn't really got to me during S1 but i got into it into S2 and really enjoyed, i like the equilibrium between fantasy powers and the actual psychical power of the characters they don't go over board with super jumps and super speed and super strength but there are some fantasy powers still (mostly granted by the weapons), speaking of which i'm done with my speedy rewatch of queen's blade still loving the ending. Now to get to the actual reason i rewatched the series again and start with the OVA's XD.

Has anyone seen PES yet? It's a new webseries by Studio4C, it's a nice and illustrative story about love, aliens, and cars.

Messing with the idea of watching Excel Saga but then I decided to catch up on K-ON's manga instead. Meh.

Not sure how well that show will go down these days. It's pretty old and there have been better insanity rip-off romps since then.

Finished watching the ova's, here's the promo (since its nsfw, i'll only link it not embed it), the show has more then just the fanservice the promo lets it show , the animation and artwork in the ova though is splendid, they also kept the cool ost, it was a nice watch, this is meant to connect the first two QB seasons to Rebelion. Got one last ova series left Queen's Blade Rebelion OVA:

Finished watching Queen's Blade Rebelion ova, the first one was really cool and i gotta say i like the new protagonist Annelotte (gets extra points for being a disciple of Alleyne XD), second ova i wasn't that fond of, not to crazy about Siggy or the religious system of the mainland myself, but i gotta say it is funny . All in all this one seems like its going to have a twist regarding my preferences, in the previous QB i wasn't very fond of the main character but there where a lot of the cast i did like (Alleyne, Aldra, Airi, Tomoe Shizuka, Listy, Ymir). But here atm all that drew my attention where Aldra, Annelotte and Liliana, but the start is definitely promising XD. As soon as the latest installment of the series ends up on blu-ray i'll be sure to watch it XD.

Like schumi said, Excel Saga might have lost some of it's charm but I still think there is no other anime(except puni puni poemi but that's basically a spin-off) with that kinda of machinegun talk... Have to rise hats for the voice actor for pulling it off(even for the dub one!).

There is one ongoing anime that has some of a similar charm, Haiyore! Nyarlko which "parodies" Ctulhu... It gets crazier every episode.

Korewa 2 finished its run. The last episode was ultimately stupid, too bad.

Currently watching Venus to Mamoru on Crunchyroll. Kinda okay show, protagonist looks too much like the guy from Macademi Wasshoi, but that's animu for ya. :P

Talking 'bout Crunchy, I'm really deliberating getting a premium account because the ads are driving me nuts (VOLUME TOO LOUD!).

Started watching Queen's Blade... Finished the first season, got past the first "WTF" moments that made me drop it originally! And damn, these women spend almost as much time topless as the guys do in Twilight!

Other than the absolute shamelesness I can't really praise it... The battles especially are kinda lazy as the animators have obviously spent more time doing extreme closeups of the girls bust and crouch in impossible positions than the actual battle. Mostly it's just closeups with freezeframes and clothes getting ripped off with aboslutely stupid stances, it's just lazy~. Story just seems like it'll turn into a tournament battle with a lot of boobage... Might be wrong about this but it's not like people watch this for the story anyways!

Characters aren't really bad and might actually hold on their own even without them being topless half of the time... Which is propably the main reason I'm gonna keep watching it, along with the fact that the first season was more of an introduction. Especially Aldra seems kinda interesting(I've also watched the first two episodes of the 2nd season).

But you gotta admit that episode 2 of the first season is awesome right ? As for the rest i do see your point and mostly agree, but for the fights (excluding the fanservice parts) i kind of like how they keep it leveled, not to over the top with the fights, they do have abilities, but its not like they are super womens. Dunno i for one kind of liked that, then again i judge it by both seasons.
