Because as I have said in the past I LOATHE playing any fast paced game using a Keyboard. Honestly don't understand how people find it comfortable for more then 5 minutes.

With a Keyboard/Mouse combo I am only quick with the mouse as I keep looking down at the Keyboard at the keys.

I only want the game IF pad support is added, otherwise I will stay clear (Like I already have until now with Doom 3 due to no gamepad support)

My issues are likely due to the fact I was only a console player until the start of this console generation and never grew accustomed to Keyboard/Mouse play.

Also, this fact is not helped by the fact ALL my friends are console players so they are also far more likely to have a go if I hand them a gamepad.

As far as handhelds go, well, I get the Nintendo one.

YES YES! Looks like they are following a similar story of SoTN where the previous hunter gets corrupted and alucard have to go kill him. Now my only worry is the 3ds game.

Truly, that was amazing. Got hyped.

EDIT: Also, ditto for this:

Loved Tomb Raider 1 back in the day, the remake (TR:Anniversary) was excellent. The only other TR game I really liked was Legends. This reboot looks really good though.

...

Crap, it just occurred to me that it will probably be console exclusive, at least for a little while.

EDIT2: Coming out for PC as well, yay!

Good to see that Tomb Raider hasn't forgotten it's roots.

That's fair enough, though I myself prefer different controller scheme depending on a game and have no issue with playing on a keyboard at all. Then again I played on Amiga/PC since early days, my adventure with consoles started only with PSOne.

Hence why I am not negative towards keyboard/mouse support (I know it is superior and I would never be dumb enough to ever try and convince anyone otherwise).

Its just my preference and I can't be the only one that would buy more games if they have gamepad support as well due to similar reasons
Even though the game is free to play I don't play TF2 due to no gamepad support

A gamepad compatible release of Quake 4 would be even Sweeter

Worried about this one. Looks really flashy. Too flashy. I hope is not all QTE, scripted events with a lot of hand holding highlighting.

Kind of looks like an Uncharted approach, but dark. The fanfiction that will spawn from this game will reach new heights of terrifying.

What about 720p @ 30fps lock? That will look hideous on my monitor.

Lol even watching it at 360p in the little youtube box I can see that the res used in that video is much higher than 720p, and the frame rate is much smoother . At any rate it looks like they added a new world or to.

I want.

I'll just buy the DLC. It's cheaper (US$ 14,99) and that way I keep my stuff/progress.

I wonder if this will be even half as good as the trailer would have us believe

One thing I can already confirm could look better is "Harley Quinn". I MUCH prefer her look from Batman: Arkham Asylum

Quote:
Doom 3 BFG Edition will be the final say in Doom content to date. The package will include Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3, Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil and a brand-new, "lost" mission for Doom 3 with seven new levels, a new boss and two-to-three hours of content.

In addition, Carmack and id have been tweaking the formula, enhancing and improving the now seven-year-old game. The graphics have been enhanced. 3D graphics support will be native. And the game will have a brand-new control scheme on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Also, it will be available on PlayStation 3, which marks the first time in history that the original Doom will be available on a PlayStation platform. (While a version of the game was released for PlayStation, its levels were modified from the PC version and some were missing entirely.)

But perhaps most importantly, Xbox 360 players will be able to use their flashlight and gun at the same time, something that was not possible when the game was originally ported to the console, and which fans let id know was a problem.
Sounds like we are getting SOMETHING way better then a basic re-release.

Hopefully the people who modded the original version will also "remake" there mods for this BFG edition.

Sadly for me though it looks like the PC version won't have the gamepad support I desire.

Looks like the Xbox 360 controller. xD

But that's a good thing, that controller is great.
