VBA to VBA Link Save conversion
Let me preface by saying I'm not too partial to either emulator as all I really lose are some settings that I can easily reset; all I really want out of this is the ability to link, and the save file with the data after linking. To add some context, I'm trying to use the two versions of Robopon 2 (Cross and Ring) to do some link sparking, but I'm having an issue: VBALink uses a different .sav format (.sa1?) than VBA regular does, and because of that, I can't get my data over for the two games to use in VBALink. What can I do to my data used in VBA so I can load it through VBALink, or is there some other version of VBA I can use that uses the same save file format? |

VBALink uses the same format as VBA. You just have to rename .sav to .sa1 for the first screen, .sa2 for the second, etc. So, if you plan to open your Cross save on screen 1, and link it to Ring on screen 2, you need to rename the saves to *Cross*.sa1 and *Ring*.sa2, with the names of your ROMs, respectively.
