Driver 2 Advance freezes

I'm playing the US version of the game, Driver 2 Advance. It was a great game. So now I try this on VBA (latest) and it's freezing early on in the Undercover mode.

I'm at the mission "Car Bomb". When I deliver the car to the destination, the game freezes; the music is still playing but no button works and there's no sound effects. It's just frozen.

Help, please??????????????

I would if I could but I've never played the game so I wouldn't know about any incompatibilities. This doesn't sound like something that can be fixed though unless it's being caused by some sort of cheat code your may have activated.

I'm not playing with any cheats enabled. Since it's an issue with the emulator, I'd assume it would at least be checked out?

And the game is very easy to learn. It's a simple driving game where you go from point A to point B with easy controls. The mission I'm talking about is easy to reach and it's early on in the game.

Well the thing is that VBA is dead so if something was wrong with the emulator then that would simply be it and we still wouldn't get any further.
Also I don't have the game (and no don't tell me how to get it, we keep things legitimate around here).
All I could suggest is that your perhaps try VBA-M and if there's a problem go post on their forum (not the forum subsection here) about it.
