Hard to say which one was the bestest, but I liked the Monk, Demon Hunter and the Wizard most. I still have my old D2 save with Chain Lightning/Frozen Orb Sorceress build in which I put many, many hours but is pretty much invincible even on Hell mode. I also like the physics in D3, you can really feel for example Barbarian's powerful strikes. I wonder if Blizzard plans any expansion with more classes like they did with D2.

I mean, I figured Belial out very early in the act, and Azmodan was truly disappointing with regards to being a "master strategist". Even a child could do better. How long did they actually spend on development? If it truly was a decade, that's extremely bad. |

Expect 2 expansions for Diablo 3, over the course of 4 years. --- A long blog post where they talk about their current goals when it comes to future patches : http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/6018173 Points of interest : - "We have a patch coming within the next week (patch 1.0.2) that has been in development since the game’s launch and is mainly aimed at addressing service issues." - "The first real game balance changes, outside of hotfixes, will be coming in patch 1.0.3." - Also in patch 1.0.3 : You'll see the item level of lvl60 items. They'll change the cost of leveling + using the Blacksmith and Jeweler. Make it easier to combine lower-level gems. - Patch 1.1 should be the PvP patch, which will most likely also bring with it a buff to legendary items. The buff won't be retroactive. They also talk about Inferno for a while.

More than slow, they pack enough content into them that more is not necessary. DII saw only one expansion so I don't think DIII will have more than 2, if that~.

I got home late from work, took my wife to a nice dinner, and when I got home I wanted to play D3 until my brain shut down, only to discover (after the latest update), that Battle.net servers are unavailable (error 33). Damn you Blizzard, and your inevitable betrayal.

My D3 copy arrived today, coincidentally I had to start painting my house at the same time... I'm two weeks off work though and painting shouldn't take that long The kitchen and dining room are almost done, just need some corrections which I'm gonna do tomorrow as I'm tired as hell. Can't imagine having to go to work at 11PM now and fortunately I don't have to. :>I have two guest passes to give away, PM me if interested. My battletag is Galson#2132 if anyone wants to add me. |

Anyway, it's par for the course. After WoW and StarCraft 2, I honestly didn't expect much. But on a positive note, the game itself is actually quite fun to play around with, and though the story sucks, it doesn't get personal, so I can enjoy the game more rather than worrying about how a character I like will eventually die. I think they intentionally did it that way so that players wouldn't feel bad about going through the game a second or third time. Imagine the emotional breakdown if *insert name of character who died here for spoiler reason* was your favorite and you can't stand the thought of the game wrestling the power to rescue him/her from you. |

Nope. I'm still stuck in Hell. Level 54. Nightmare was over pretty fast but Hell does seem to be a bit more... elastic. It just drags on, and monsters keep getting exponentially more powerful. It's so ridiculous that if I were to go back to Normal, I bet I could beat the last boss within seconds. Here in Hell, I still have a hard time trying to keep up with some monsters since regular field bosses can run up to 1M HP. Yea... Amazing enough, I still played through FF7 like 5 times (mostly to breed a gold Choco). |

My brief life as a Diablo III hacking victim "He warned me that all Battle.net accounts are limited to two such rollbacks over the lifetime of the game" Just two? That's some interesting information to know before requesting one. |

By the way the mobile authenticator is just giving me errors constantly and I sent in a support ticket but I have not herd a thing back so my account is missing a authenticator right now. Had the dial in one but since that one does not work with Diablo 3 I figured I would go with the mobile one but I can not as every time I try to add it it gives me the error that the code I entered is not correct which just sucks. Ok redownloading the dang thing after a few days seems to have fixed the problem. That was just really annoying to deal with.

Been using the authenticator since the beginning, never had problems with it. I have it as an app for Android btw. Though now that I got the game I haven't been able to play it for two last days due to error 37. There seem to be a lot of problems with EU servers... The hell is up with all the gold spammers? I could of sworn you had to buy the game to chat.

It's the scheduled maintenance, isn't it? As far as I know they're releasing the patch too at the same time. I haven't been playing much, but will probably come back a little once they release patch 1.0.3, looks like it should make some nice changes. http://www.diablofans.com/news/1235-patch-103-preview/

You gotta love a game that you can only play when they let you, particularly single player mode. So you pay $60 for that experience and for a limited time because someday they'll shut down the servers for good and you won't ever be able to play again. Now why is it I refuse to buy such games, particularly for $60.
