Making Soul Silver work?

I've been trying to get this game to work on multiple emulators with no real luck. Does anyone know what I have to do so that the game runs at normal speed and doesn't freeze or go black screen all the time? Also where can I get an English version of the ROM(If that's taboo to ask, can someone just PM me with a link)? Any help would be appreciated.
