CEP, how does it work?
Yes I already checked the release thread and similar topics, but, none of the instructions are detailed enough to understand. Here is the cheat code I want to get to work Vivi auto-jumps when "!" appears (CD1) E007BBF0 0001 30077E8A 0001 I have this in a .TXT file. Here is what I do. 1. Start XEBRA and FF IX. 2. Start CEP 3. In the "Process" tab, I pick the bottom option, XEBRA.EXE 4. In the "Cheat" tab, I open the .TXT file containing the cheat code. I delete all the other text and other cheat codes, leaving only the above code. 5. I press the "On" button Cheat does not work. I have used it in EPSXE and it worked, so I can confirm this for myself. What am I doing wrong? |

1. How do you know I don't own a PS1? 2. What makes you think I spent the majority of my time figuring out how to get CEP to work, or play PS1 games on my PC? 3. If you are going to try an insult me, try and use an insult that I can't thoroughly tear apart. |

Hello Damned536, You have to select Playstation on Base Address Search Drop box. Then hit Base Search Button. Then you can go to the Code tab and turn on your codes. btw: you must have Xebra running the game before you start cep. Here is my guide to get cep working on arbex. 1.Start your program and make sure it is running. You need to have the game running. 2.Start cep then click on process tab. 3.Click on the Advanced button then look for your program. 4.Click on your program. 5.Now look for Base Address Search. 6.Select Playstation and hit search button. 7.Now click on the Code tab. Look for the game you want to cheat on. 8.Click "on" to activate the Codes. 9.Thats it. |
