Scrap all of the above...
...just use Nice64 2.1.0 (final) and on settings, change nothing! It plays RE2 flawlessly!

This may be a thread post but of what usefulness! I haven't really dived into resident evil franchise yet as I was a little kid when my brother enjoyed it and from what i've heard n64 resident evil 2 is the best. Thanks mudlord you are the man!
