Exclamation Final Fantasy 7 ISO overflow problem

Okay, so I got this problem whenever I play FFVII on ePSXe 1.6.

When I play the first CD, everything runs fine at first. At least until the window where "New Game" and "Continue" option is. So, whenever I choose "New Game", the screen stays black and freezes, and when I checked the log, it says WARNING: ISO Overflows or something like that.

I use run from ISO option whenever I play any game, use the "nice" setting on Pete's plugin, and pretty much already tried everything from the troubleshooting thread, but all is in vain.

Any kind of help would be much appreciated.

Possibly a bad dump. Did you download the ISO or rip it?

You really shouldn't post links to ISO images/ROMs here. Rip your own games. Trust me, you'll want to delete that link ASAP.

The forums rules state as such. It's illegal to do so, especially if you don't own the original disc in the first place.

Fair enough. I'll try looking in other site then.

Thank you for your advise.

What the? Most other websites will tell you the exact same thing; the image is corrupted (aka "bad dump") and if you want an image that is guaranteed to work, you need to rip your OWN playstation ISO images. The one you got is corrupted and will not work.

Hm? Did you, by any chance, get offended by my word? If so, I'm terribly sorry for what I said.
According to this ISO matter, I might get an original one, if somebody actually sells one here. I'm not in the oh-so-great United States of America where you can get original copies of games virtually anywhere. Plus with my current financial situation, I have no other option but rely on such method.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience I've caused. And by the way, the problem has been solved already, so you may report this thread and lock it or any other appropriate measurement.
