Haven't used PEC for a while... As far as I remember, put PEC-plugin for the graphics. Then open PEC and choose the cheats you wish to use. PEC is easier to use without Frontends. I haven't even tried it with Delta.

I am able to enable cheats for FF8 with pec but when i apply any cheats, but after applying any cheat during battles the player hud no longer shows up. Is there other cases of this happening and how do i fix this issue?

Is there a way to frameskip with PEC running ?

When you choose a plugin for video, you could configure that plugin. On the configuration screen, you should have "Use FPS limit" like I do here.

I know that..F4'ing (frameskipping) works only if I'm not running PEC

Also, I still have the crap sound problem that scratches/stutters, time to time when PECing
