You're using a newer SVN but your plugins are outdated. Go here for updated plugins. Using GSDX10 is highly recommended as it is more compatible and runs faster. Unfortunately, you need a DX10 capable GPU and Windows Vista or 7. I don't know if you have a DX10 class GPU, but given your other specs and it being a Mac, I would assume you do. Probably a Geforce 9400GT.

It doesn't seem to register the GSdx10 plugin I downloaded and extracted into the plugin file... I'm guessing I don't meet the minium requirements. Any other suggestions? EDIT: The games runs at 40-50fps and 85-100% kind of... as far as I make it in but the videos are constantly flashing and flickering. So it's not so much the speed of the game right now... but the flickering of the video... EDIT2: FFXII runs at only 30% when I play that. Funny thing is I made it half way through the game and NOW I'm having issues. I don't get it. I must have changed something... Last edited by biswis; October 5th, 2010 at 04:07.. |

As I mentioned previously, you need Windows Vista or 7 to use GSDX10. This is the missing requirement. I think FFX-2 still has issues with its videos. FF12 runs a lot better with GSDX10. I still receive slowdown in areas with lots of transparency or reflections. I think these effects are rendered on the CPU rather than through the GPU, causing the slowdown.
