odd input lag in fullscreen
i'm using vsync, which sometimes adds a frame or two of input lag in several games, but i noticed something strange in psx. in windowed mode, the emulator works just fine with no input lag whatsoever with vsync enabled. in fullscreen, however, the input lag is quite noticeable for me and very distracting in games like 'symphony of the night'. now this doesn't necessarily warrant a question on the forums, but i noticed some odd behavior. after alt-tabbing out of the emulator at one time, i noticed that when it returned to fullscreen, the mouse curser was still active on the screen as if it were in windowed mode. not only that, but the input lag was gone completely. it's as if my computer thought that the emulator was still in a window, despite the fact that it was fullscreen. i've attempted to recreate this phenomenon multiple times, with no luck does pSX use a different rendering method in fullscreen than in windowed mode? has anyone else encountered this problem? cpu:amd athlon x2 5800+ 3ghz gpu: geforce 9800gt mem: 6gig ddr2 |
