Pokemon HG/SS Rudolf patch USA

Tested on the USA rom and EU rom

1. Download Patch.rar and get a Patch.exe file from the RAR archive.

2. Drag your ROM and drop it onto the Patch.exe. That's all.

Note:
The file having the ".bak" extension is the backup copy of the original nds file.

You need to use the black screen code everytime when you start the game.

020D3FA8 E1A00000

Open up no$gba->Utility->Cheats->Add new->Copy the code in the big window->Press action replay code->done(click on the code so its marked)
Repeat the last step each time you go in the game.

I tested it with no$gba went trought the door 100 times and it didn't freeze. Only have to check for random freezes. Probably works on flashcards to.

Edited now with two links.

Well im now at the second gym and didn't got a single random in-game freeze, trainer loop ... Saving works fine to.

Finnaly a working patch, enjoy playing!

when i try: it says: "Can`t find the universal code pattern to bepatched."

what should i do?

Maybe a bad dump. When does it say, when you drag your rom on the patch.exe ?

Everythings fine. No nasty graphic glitches. I'm really curious if the pokeathlon expirience has changed. If it still laggs so badly. Well if anyone can check this and post the results here i would be very happy

Then something isn't right with the rom. Check if you'r rom is (U) or (E) couse the german version won't work.

itws german, but it says for usa and eu version...

Then i can't help you further on. Either you get a european clean version or the usa version.

you should be able to edit the language in NDS / GBA Bios, but you'll have to do it every time you run the game


What do I do with the .bak files? I got Pokemon Heartgold.bak and Pokemon Heartgold.nds

Read my first post. The .bak is only the backup file of the original.

it continues freezing... like 20 minutes playing and froze in the start of a battle... sound continued but the image stopped...
