how to increase fps in xenosaga?

I have a windows vista 32 bit operating system, an intel quad dual core processor with 2.4 GHz, 2 GB of ram, and two 8600 GTS video cards enabled in sli mode.

I am trying to play xenosaga but the framerates are kind of slow. During the intro scenes it plays about 30 - 34 fps and when i start to play the game it goes down to between 23 - 27 fps. How can i increase the rates?

Here is my settings for PCSX2.0.9.4:

CPU settings:
Both options for dual core are enabled
normal framerate
both of the vu compilers are enabled

Video plugin :
GSDx 0.1.7 set at Direct3D10(hardware)
size: 1024 x 768 60Hz

Audioplugin:
ZeroGS

CDVDplugin: p.e.op.s(newestversion) set at async read with cache enabled
