Eternal SPU and FF9

Can't seem to find how to search for exact matches of all words in the search so its kinda hard to find my problem but here it is.

With the research I did to this point I found out that Eternal SPu is the best for ff9 but even w/ the bug fix checked the sound seems to repeat it with a little delay. I keep testing it on the opening fmv so perhaps this is known to happen no matter what let me know if it is.

I am also using the original cd, perhaps isos work better? Also, I can't figure out what people mean by "PAL" so if you can help me determine if I need the "pal patch" I would appreciate it.
