Using Savefiles

Hello,

Is there any possibility of using these in PCSX2?:

Final Fantasy X Saves - Final Fantasy X Save Files - Final Fantasy X Saved Games

(from the Europe Max Driver Section for example)

Btw, is there any cheat-software for PCSX2 available? Or can I type in Freezer Codes somewhere so that their active during the game?

Final Fantasy X (10) - Freezer-Codes - Spieletipps.de

Thanks in advance!

I tried to do it with your link CheatMaster, and everything went good, at least it seemed like it did. I checked the Memory Card with the PS2 Browser, and the Browser said, there was a Final Fantasy X savegame on, but when i start the game and choose to load game instead to start a new game it says that there are no FFX saves on the card, on both of the cards. I tried it also directly with PCSX2 in the beginning withe the File->Load Command, it also didnt work...

Btw, i used a european max drive save, is that format not supported?

You need the save for your version of the game and you need to extract the files from that max drive save.If the name of the folder with the files is not correct your game wont find the save even if it is for you version of the game.

And with that tool I should also make the instructions from CheatMaster, just with a different mem-card editor? Or does this Editor do everything on its own?

you can import .max and .psu files directly to pcsx2.ps2 memcards with this tool.
no ulaunchelf or something required

I use this too it's way easy that using the emu,if the save is not psu or max format I just you PS2 Save Builder to convert the save to max(actully I use the command line part of the program which allows me to put a save in less than 5 second,I create a bat file and with it I just double click on it and he do all the work)

Look here but now this program has a GUI so this guide for mymc actually is not needed.

Ah, Ive tried it with this new tool, and I used all the european save files from the gamefaqs site, and the browser shows, that there are some final fantasy X saves on it, but when i go to pcsx2 under options and then memory card, theyre both empty, without any saves... and the game itself also tells me that there are no ffx saves on these cards... its so strange.
