how to speed up fps???

i played my first game today and it only gives me 5-10 fps in gameplay..anyway to speed it up???i was playing wwe smackdown vs raw...also when i tried to play gta sa..it just gives me a black screen..are all games compatible with pcsx2???

Intel Pentium 4 3.07ghz
1790mb ram
nvidia geforce 7600 gt 256mb

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw is a very performance intensive game.
only the latest dualcore cpu's can play the game at fullspeed.

hei friends i want to know that how i increase my fps it is 1or 2 fps when i play tekken tag , my comp is intel pantium 4
512mb ram
no graphics card

what i do for increase fps , if there is a solution please tell me or e-mail me plz

You definitely need a GFX card. Software renderers are pretty much no good. Best if u get one with 256-512MB video RAM, and pixelshader2.0.

If you had no graphic card you couldn't even post this message 'cause you couldn't even plug a monitor to your computer.

You have to have one, even if it's integrated to your motherboard.

hey, I've just tried the 600*800 100 Hz with the GSdx9 sse2, it seems that the emu runs faster in that setting

hai friends i don"t have the graphics card but when i check the game tekken tag in my friends comp it doesn"t run fast still the same , he had nividia geforce 7600 gfx card , i questioned to you because i don"t have gfx card and my friend had gfx card but stil same fps (kindly pardon me my english is not so good )

Of course not all games are compat with pcsx2, check the website which has a compat list.

Well probably your friend doesn't have a dual core processor. Besides, a Geforce 7600 does not compare to a 7900, and especially an 8800.

guys please download the 2 patch for dual core pc to gian more fps!!!!!!!!!!!
this ptch which release from microsoft will fix some problems for xp sp2.

Hey i need help speeding up my fps for pcsx2 i dont really know if my plugins and all that are the best they can be but im using...gsdx 890 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14 graphic plugin and P.E.Op.S. SPU2 1.9.0 for sound plugin...my system is

MS Windows XP Home SP3
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz, 512MB RAM, RADEON X300 Series

PCSX2.net - Downloads

Download the public beta and beta plugins and put them into your PCSX2 0.9.6 folder. The beta plugins will need to go into PCSX2' "plugin" folder.

The beta features some additional speedhacks and optimizations that will speed up emulation, though really you need to buy/build a new computer as a Pentium 4 and X300 are insufficient for PS2 emulation.
