how about your video card? the game requires at least a shader capable card to run.

Even if you did manage to get the PC version playing there are quite a few problems with the unchangeable controls ans sometimes choppy framerate that won't allow you to play as if it is the original PS2 version.

The framerates are smooth but at times will suddenly drop for no reason whatsoever on my PC, certain buttons are unchangeable and there is no way to make certain controllers work.

AMD Athlon64x2 4400+
Nvidia Geforce 7800GT
2GB Dual Channel DDR Ram
2X 300GB Maxtor HDD

Normally if you bought whole a computer instead of building it in which case I will assume you bought it it should be in your user manual.

If you need something a little more specific you can always run Belarc Advisor, that should give you more than enough information about your computer.

the bold one is your video card, the GeForce 2, the game doesnt support that unfortunately, its very old anyway.

That helps alot, your PC is slightly below touching the minimum requirements so you can't play it.

You could, but it'd be a waste of money seeing how you can get a PS2 for the same price. And even if you'd get a new videocard I really wonder if your CPU is fast enough. You'd be better off getting an entirely new pc.
