Having Chrono Cross issues.

Seems everyone has issues with this game :P
anyway, i was unable to find any topics where people were having the same issues as me. i find when i leave areas the sound skips and it takes a second for the next screen to display. system specs:
Intel Centrino 1.4GHZ (laptop)
512MB DDR ram
64MB Intel Extreme GFX (sucky, i know)
the game pretty much plays fine except for leaving areas, sometimes when getting into battles it does the exact same thing. here are my settings for EPSXE 1.52

Have you tried lowering the resolution? Your gfx card is *very* weak, so don't expect too much.

i'd suggest using Peops software GPU with that, you're better off. ive messed around a little with that card on a friend of mine's computer, and while D3D does work, it's..meh. use Peops.
