Might be screwed to hell:(

Well last friday when i went and got the mail there was a letter from the lawyer of the original owner of the house and to my surprise the bastard will be in court on feb5th to try and take our house from us even though we declared bankruptcy, there might be a 60%chance he can win and will have us evicted immediately,so my mom is going to try and get in contact with our bankruptcy lawyer tomorrow and see wht's going to happen.

I feel sick to know that people actually suffer to this extent. I wish you the best possible outcome.

I think they purchased the house from someone, went bankrupt, and were unable to pay off their mortgage.

My dad's around but it was my mom who finally had decided to do bankruptcy a few months ago to keep the house, the original owner put down $30,000 on the house which we were paying him back but tryed to refinance but no one would refinance us so we had no chance in doing bankruptcy.Having a house is better because i am tired of living in apartments and moving all the time to another apartment before they raise the rent.

I really hope you come out of this okay. I wish you the best of luck.
