Thumbs up Cricket 2002 PC/PS2 Version

I am big Cricket fan... So I spent two days getting it...YAYAY

I just played it for 5 minutes, because I am doing HW... I found it so far harder than any previous EA 3D Cricket Games. Anyway I still think EA's Cricket 97 Ashes Tour Cup was Best back in the day. But the best Cricket game of them all is Brian Lara's Crickets, the old one... I never got the new *BLC '99*

So I was wondering did anyone else play this game.... You guys can get the demo on any Aus/European/NZ/S. African/ South Asian gaming site*if there are any*.

BTW: Just wanted tell Pakistanis on this Forum Wasim Akram has been choosen #1 bowler.... YAYAYA:thumbup:

You want me to help you? I know every damn freakin' thing about cricket 2002 and honestly, it beats the hell outta every cricket game ever released before it. The graphics and animations CAN get better and commentry was best in BLC 99 but this game has solid gameplay.

Wasim bhai is the # 1 oneday bowler. 490 wickets man! c'mon!

Woot he has reached 490 Wickets, Can wait to see him cross 500, YAAAA.
I think I should get this game, I loved Brian Lara.As far as the EA Cricket games are concerned, never liked them, maybe I should give 2002 a chance
I was wondering why codemasters didn't released a any new version of their Brian Lara game, maybe thats because of the limited fans of this game.

About Brian Lara cricket. May be they'll release a title next year, cos when there is a cricket world cup, there's a BLC title. BLC 96 then BLC 99 and hopefully BLC03

I have played almost all the cricket games and I guess cricket 2002 is the best competition that blc cricket 99 has ever faced.

I own the pc version of cricket 2002 and it works much better if you apply the patches available on official site as well as other places on the net.

Over all blc 99 still holds the edge for me. (Btw ps2 version of cricket 2002 is much better than anything else).

Start the game on easy difficulty and then change it as you master. Don't use the L1 (or the boost) button unless you're batsmen is batting on 20 or more runs (oor the batsmen has good average).

Try to be defensive. When you get the hang of it, lay the samckdown. My hoghest score in One day is 408 for 7 after 50 overs against Aussies. I was playing as Pakistan.
