Is Kingdom Hearts worth the money?

I really like final fantasy games, and i've heard that you can tell it was made by the creators of FF. and i've also seen that it has Final Fantasy characters in it, but is the game overwhelmed by the disney factor, or does it make it cooler, or what? lets hear some opinions on the game so i can make a better decision

No, in my opinion it sucks. I thought it was boring. It didnt hook me so i didnt continue to play it.

I think it's a good game, even though I haven't played it yet. Also keep in mind that being the fanboy I am, I would love to call it down and say it sucks. I just think the game is interesting, and definately worth a try. If I had a PS2, I would be playing it right now.

My post is totally opposite to Decoy's.

I would recommend this game to you. The only reason why I am not playing this game is that I can't find a copy of it in my area. The only available disc is damaged. I did get it and it had scratches all over the place I played through a short part of the game.

Didn't you follow my link? It explains why it is good. The only reason why someone can say that this game sux is because of personal tastes. Otherwise it is an awesome game. BTW there is only oe person who say this game sux.

You didn't get my point. If you read the posts carfully, there are very well defined reasons as to why ppl liked Kingdom Hearts. I didn't find any valid points on why it sucked.

Syed, I love Square bashing. It's becoming my pastime of choice, due to some of their recent PSX titles. I am sure that I will enjoy bashing KH when I get to play it.

But regardless, Kingdom Hearts looks to be a good game overall. I am still nervous about the voice acting though.

The voice acting is just great. Specially of the Disney characters. The only voice acting that sucked IMO was that of Kid Wakka's.

Kingstar, if you are asking if the PSX is dead already, then the answer would yes, it pretty much is. There are a few titles still coming, but basically it has now been left "in the dust" by the newer consoles.
As for Kingdom Hearts, that might be my reason to buy a PS2. One question though, did they get Donald Duck's voice right? Ever since Clarance "Ducky" Nash died, he did the voice of Donald, it has been virtually impossible to duplicate, correctly, Donald's voice. Even computers have had a hard time getting it right. That is why I am wondering if they finally have gotten Donald's voice correct.

I would agree with you sxamiga about the psx. ALL good titles are on either PS2 or GC. and to say the truth, psx stayed alive for more that 7 years, which is a world record in a console survival

. As for Kingdom Hearts, I think its a great game, Some people consider it a kiddie, because of Donald Duck and Goofy

,...but i think both of them add more fun to the game............

The first time I heard Donald, I was just amazed how well his voice actor did. It is just so good. I mean if you close youre eyes and hear Donald speak; you'll clearly say that a Disney Donald Duck cartoon is on. But if you're a critic and stick your ear to his each and every word damn closely, you may notice BITs of imperfection.

i think i'll invest in Kingdom Hearts, its looking pretty good, so, next time i get 50 bucks, i'll dish it into buying this, the reviews were good, and i'm taking other peoples opinions.
