Question DaedalusD3D8 ...

I've seen this plugin mentioned an various threads, but I can't
find a download anywhere. It's not on the Daedalus homepage,
I can't find it on NGEmu, and I have looked at a few other places.

I want to try it with 1964(08.3), to see if I can get Gauntlet
Legends working. I must say, 1964 is by far the most
compatible N64 emulator I have found. It's runs everything
I have(Cruis'n USA,Super Smash Bros,Mario Tennis, Golden Eye,
1080 Snowboarding,Castlevania)
I'm not boasting, I only listed this because nowhere do I find a
thread that definitively states that 1964 is the best to date.
I know, I know...some emulators run some games better
than others, Corn is best for Mario 64, UltraHLE is best for
Golden Eye, But I have tried almost all of them, and 1964 8.3
(with the PJ64 plugins) works the best by far.

Here is the Unnoficial Daedalus D3D8 plugin by Rice (1964 author):

And here is the one compiled by StrmnNrmn (Daedalus author):

Thanks. I tried them out, no joy. I guess my opinion is
that if you have a GeForce card and Directx 8, the best combo is
as follows....
1964 08.3
PJ64 Plugins - Jabo's Direct3D7 1.4
Azimer's Audio v0.40 Beta 1
Jabo's Direct Input6 Plugin
Zilmar's RSP LLE Pligin
Project64 RDB

Unless someone knows a better combo, or one that works with
Gauntlet Legends????
Never played it, but have seen some Gauntet arcade games that
looked pretty cool.

lots of combo's u could do. if u hav a geforce card then rice's unofficial daedalus d3d0.08 rel2 should play gauntlet legends fine.

make sure u enable 'alpha blender' from within the video options'. dont expect it to work perfect, there's minor flickering, but basically this is the only plugin to correctly display the textures, and also most of the time the flickering goes away.
