Doom3 VS ut2k3/ut2

well i've gotten my hands on ut2 and u2...and saw some nice efects.. good sharp textures.. it even went smoothly on my pc
but i also saw the trailer of doom3

now THAT LOOKS AWESOME!!:eyes:
i've always prefered quake, when it was against duke nukem, quake 2 against unreal, q3 against ut, now doom vs ut2

the ut engine is nice...cant say anything against it...
but still think that doom will kick ut2's ass

Strange, for me it was the opposite. I always liked Unreal over Quake 2 and UT over Q3A.

Unreal 2 and Unreal Tournament 2003 haven't been released yet (they're not even close to finishing them). This would obviously indicate that you have a leaked (somewhat illegal) beta version of them. An early pre-alpha version of UT2003 was leaked across the web about a week ago and the Epic developers have indicated that it was in no way a representitive of the final product. Doom 3 is also heavy in development. I think it's a bit too early to make any proper comparison between them.
