epsxe 1.7 wont run tomb raider 2

hi guys
I have epsxe 1.7 and it wont run tomb raider 2 the game start perfectly until i choose new game it goes on endless black screen please help am using an iso image

As I recall, the game doesn't work properly on 1.7 , I played it on 1.6 and it runs fine, use the 1.6 version for this game.

I tried 1.6 and 1.5.2 not working on both any ideas my friends ?? I really want to play this game so bad

Hmm... if it still doesn't work, try PSX version 1.13 or other emulators like Xebra
or PCSX reloaded.

i tried PCSX reloaded it worked but tooo fast how can i fix this ?

Find something about limiting the framerate and set it to 50. 50 fps is the normal speed for PS1 games. Also, work on your punctuation, please.
