Resident Evil 2 Settings
Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I'm trying to get Resident Evil 2 to work and look as good as possible. I've heard there are some bugs with this game, but I saw this thread here: http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthre...=112693&page=2 and I did what the person said at the end, which is to use ePSXe v1.7.0 and ePSXe Shark and I played a tiny little and everything's running perfectly so far. Now I'd really like to know what plugins and settings people use with this game in order to make it look as good as possible. Also, if someone has encountered problems with this game even while running it with ePSXe v1.7.0 and ePSXe Shark, please tell me. |

I made this configuration more for Final Fantasy IX, but I also used it with many other games like Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Dino Crisis 2, The Legend of Dragoon, and others, and it worked fine for them all.

Pre-rendered backgrounds like those found in RE can look less pixelated by using some form of bilinear filtering, depending on the graphics plugin you are using. Either that, or run the game at native resolution on a TV or similar CRT, or use some form of CRT shader: http://forums.ngemu.com/showpost.php...&postcount=460 Last edited by Clements; January 14th, 2013 at 14:14.. |
