Bank of america, JP Morgan Chase and BP must feel so relieved for the vocal outrage of just gamers to have outclassed the combined furor of all america's population.

All banks are crooks. They even got bailed out with our money, along with the automotive industry. I was against both of those moves (and my current job relies on an automotive-related place being in business too). Why'd they get bailed out for failing? If I lose my essentials due to just unfortunate luck, where's my help? If they lose their luxuries, they get them handed to them on a Silver platter, and from our backs. I heard they took nice indulgences with that money too... This after much of the money already being sat on by companies.

That's what's wrong with this country. I vote America Corp. as a whole the worst one.

I'd personally put Activision above it as another gaming company, and beyond gaming related companies, there's far worse. EA's far from loved and great and all, though. They do follow the model of buying out the smaller ones and generic-izing many of them, but a lot of their games still are pretty decent (I think The Sims 3 [bugs aside, I guess] and Command & Conquer 3 were very good sequels given the companies reputation), so they're rather middle-of-the-road to me.

Because its far more profitable for them and the parties they represent. Essentially planned deregulation of capitalism is hoarding riches from not just workforces, but alos nations.

An easy example to illustrate the harm and benefit. Banks borrow at rates close to zero, and lend money (to nations) at whatever rating agencies set. Bailouts didnt create a problem or solve any, they just enticed large banks to join that movement too, where its FAR more profitable to lend to solvable, lowrated nations than it is to lend to normal citizens, no matter how solvent they actually are. In the case of greece, creditors obtained bonds of a value superior to the original loans+interest, and greece still has to pay more (imagine US solving a 2 million dollar debt by giving the statue of libert and still have to pay 1 more million at a high interest rate ensuring the longer time goes, the repaid amounts keep increasing instead of reducing, for eternity being a possibility, in case of high amounts).

Oh, I know what it is. It's greed, and that's why I dislike this country, and honestly, the whole world really since it's far from just America. It's this whole ignorant and selfish pathetic species we are.

I don't want to take this too far off track though so I'll stop there.

Best post ever. I've no idea who the worst American company is since I'm not an american resident (mind you, until this article I wasn't aware of all the crap revolving around the Bank of America, it was an informative read) but people prioritizing videogames over everything else...well, that's "special"~.

Ditto, I was just about to quote that.
Goldman Sachs who literally treat people as muppets (see Greg Smith's controversy), the banks and the whole wall street institution clubs are more deserving of that award than some....video game company.

That's still nothing next to these crooks. I remember how one of the banks, after getting our tax dollars to bail them out, went and indulged on expensive trips, and not once, but twice, and then defended it saying it was all but essential and important. Like I said, to these people, their luxuries are more important to them than essentials for others, and we wonder what's going wrong with the world, why crime and "terrorism" is on the rise, etc.

Don't forget the government, my goodness don't forget the very CEO of America Corp.

Remember back when government work was volunteered and not paid work? We need to go back to that. The government votes on raises for themselves (wow, well that's an interesting thing to vote on!) and I say we completely do away with it. That way, the only ones in will be the ones who care, not the lifelong career politicians in it for money. We'd see real quick who's in it for what if that happened and most of them split. People are going corrupt and they're just serving themselves and lobbyists of America Corp. (nice conflict of interest going on there) to sell us out. The one's working hard are fighting over, what 1% of the reserves? The ones who do nothing sit on the rest. The very ones who are supposed to fix this country now are the ones who ruined it, so we need to stop hoping they'll get us back on track and instead force them to (or force them out, as they're the problem) if necessary.

Yeah, a video game company doesn't even compare.

That's perhaps ideal but not very practical since such a post demands a lot of their time (when it comes to some jobs like President it's probably like 300% of the time they have), time which the average Joe uses to earn money for his daily life. So whilst they're definitely being paid way too much these days it's impractical to do away with it completely since then they'd have no money what so ever, not even for the essential stuff.

EA is pretty bad, but I Bank of America is the epitome of evil itself. So get this, originally my parents had a mortgage through Countrywide Financial, which was eventually consumed by BofA. After that, they had to start paying through them. At first, it all seemed as though nothing was wrong with BofA, until it was time to refinance. So they speak to them and were told "For $500, we can refinance your home and reduce the mortgage by five years!"

Well, that's when the sh** hit the fan. They after waiting and waiting, they found out that the person who was supposed to appraise the home never intended to come out and look at it. Nope, not once did they ever apologize for the alleged "mistake" and they were out $500. They now go through a different, less douchebag-oriented company, who don't treat their clients like garbage.

Suffice to say, I admit that I always knew there was something not quite right about that evil organization. I hope they burn in Hell, or are at least coerced into listening to Justin Bieber music while reading Twilight.

Makes me sad that they beat Activision. I remember back in the day when I knew a game was great when it was made by Electronic Arts, much better than the rest.....these days it's almost the opposite.

I'm a bit pissed at the banks at the moment, they send me a credit card application, I want to transfer balance and get 6 months to pay down my balance and they refuse.

Let me get this straight, they wanted bailouts using taxpayer money when they made mistakes, but when someone wants help paying down what they owe, they get turned down, and they came to me first.

I won't forget this, when my card is paid off they can forget getting me to go with any of their offers.

I don't owe that much, but 6 months with no interest would have been helpful.

So I think the banks are worse than EA. EA didn't get bailed out by the government.

Agreed, definite lack of perspective by those that voted. BofA is definitely above EA on my **** list.

Indeed, pretty much agreed with what Elly and Kaiser Sigma says. There are far worse things in this world than crappy videogame endings, EA or Origin.
