Pokemon Black startup error?

Even though I tried what was written in the FAQ, I continually get a "cartridge not found" error.
Advanscene recommended that I set my No$Gba to Flash 512K, which I did, but that didn't help any. I tried with all of the other emulator save settings but they didn't work either. I also came across another help FAQ that recommended I change some of my other settings, but that didn't work either.
Should I try using No$Zoomer? It says that its only for bugs, but do you think it would help? Or should I just download a new file?

Did you reset the game after setting the savetype? Did you save the options before shutting down No$?

I've done both, and I tried them again after you told me. It's still not working.

Disable your sound option in NO$GBA settings and see if it works. Make sure you save it and restart.

Here is what I found that made mine work open No$gba and go to utility select cheat and enter this code
02006F2C 00000000
02180B8C 00000000

Find where it says raw and click that along with action replay this is the no freeze code click add when you're done inserting the code.
Then go back to cheat and add these codes for the game making sure to click action replay only and not Raw like the last.
Black
52006f2c fdd8f1d8
02006f2c 00000000
d2000000 00000000
52180b88 42018811
52180b8c 4770d1fc
12180b8c 000046c0
d2000000 00000000

add this for the other
White
52006f2c fde8f1d8
02006f2c 00000000
d2000000 00000000
52180ba8 42018811
52180bac 4770d1fc
12180bac 000046c0
d2000000 00000000

Make sure the two codes are selected, no freeze and the black or white code then reset the rom and it should work.

This is what my settings currently look like. @dblanchard: I added your codes, but after I reset the cartridge the rom crashed.

Ok if you did it right it should work, first open No$gba and select rom you should get a screen saying it can't find a save file for the game. Then go to utilities and select cheats the right side towards the bottom should be a check box labled "RAW" Click it and then Check the box labled Action replay for DS, enter the first code I posted for the no freeze. Click OK. Then Click add new and enter the new code for either Pokemon black or White. Uncheck "RAW" if it is checked and make sure Action Replay is checked and click ok. Now make sure the codes are enabled by clicking the check boxes then reset the rom. Make sure the White and Black codes don't have the "RAW" checked, only the no freeze code should have that checked. If you messed up then delet the cheats and try again.

Hmmm dblanchard I've entered in your codes - I even tried entering the Pokemon White one just to check, and both times No$GBA has displayed a "fatal error" and crashed. I'm still not sure what I'm doing, but I think I'm entering in the codes correctly...

I think I may try to use Desmume instead - I'm having too much trouble with no$gba

It could be the version you are using but I would go with Desmume since it doesn't need codes to make the new pokemon games to work. I'm using it to play the games, a tip though if you use cheats and run in too the rom not loading just disable the cheats and after it loads re-enable them.

Sorry if I am resurrecting an old thread but I am having the same problem and would rather not resort to using Desmume considering how slow it runs... I have read on some forums that it worked for some people but why does it not work for us?
