Skip videos in FFX?

I'm getting sick of watching the videos after playing through this game a few times. No included option to skip the videos have me pretty frustrated.

Is there some option, patch, cheat, gamehack etc to skip these videos? I've seen a few old threads of people having issues of the videos being skipped and they wanted to fix it - well I want the exact opposite of that haha.

I don't know if it matters but I'm using the newest version of PCSX2 0.9.8 and an NTSC iso I ripped the other day (on a side note I think it may have ripped bad, having issues like characters in battle facing backwards, delay attack is bugged etc).

Any help is appreciated!

1 - try enabling the skip mpeg patch
2 - set clamp mode to extra to avoid your characters facing backwards

I thought I remembered seeing an option to skip videos before and I spent like 10 minutes looking through the options, but somehow I missed it =\ Thanks, I'll give it a shot

If you mean videos as in FMV yeah you can skip those, but I don't think you can skip real time cutscenes, only fast forward through them. Search for FFX pnach files

Thanks, I found the skip FMV option, but still haven't come to a full video scene to see if it works. I cant believe I JUST found out that I can press tab to increase the frame rate, that makes the real time cutscenes go by a little bit faster
