gpuBladeSoft not appearing?

Yesterday I finally got my gpuBladeSoft plugin nicely configured to get it running smoothly with decent graphics.
Today I loaded up my ePSXe and it doesn't appear in the options for a gpu... it just has a blank drop-down choice and I have to choose another plugin. Clicking config doesn't work for it and trying to load an .iso doesn't either.

I'd expect this to happen if I had done something with the plugin file, but it's there as it always has been in the /plugins directory with the others. Does anyone know what has happened?

Try cleaning the registry of epsxe's entries, and let it take you through the setup wizard again.

Did that, no joy..
why is this happening?

i have literally not changed anything that would make it do this
