Controller input lag in Pete's OpenGL2
Hi, i have a problem with Pete's OpenGL2 2.9 plugin (using ePSXe 1.7.0). Even though i have vsync switched off in the driver, i get noticable input lag. Weird thing is, when i use the other plugins from pete, like the D3D or OGL1 one, i notice no input lag and it is perfectly playable. So what is it that produces the input lag with the OGL2 plugin? Remember i have vsync turned off and when i turn it on, it is even worse. I also tried different settings and tested the "fast" and "nice" profiles but to no avail. Specs: E6750 @ 3.5 GhZ GTX260 4GB RAM Windows 7 64bit Thanks for replies |

Meh, no ideas? I can't believe noone has come across laggy controls in OGL2! I want this plugin because of its superior and more accurate graphics or do I have any alternatives with the same graphic as OGL2?

If Pete releases the OGL2 source code, I bet everyone's going to have a field day hacking it. ![]() Do you know if the game uses 'interlaced' (large res) mode? There's some that use even/odd fields which mimic a pseudo 30 fps-style (FF8-9 battles I think). Otherwise I have no idea.
