Noticed a few of your T3 videos on YouTube kamilm122...

What do you use to get the modded textures in-game? I tried that many years ago with Tekken 2 but the changed textures would only come out blank (invisible) afterwards.

Anyone can help?

TMD2DXF isn't make anything

Heihachi:

this site Honmaru - Fighting Games Center - Tekken 3 Online (click on eng. flag) can help you... exactly forum

but:

you must have a lots of tim tools
Tim Viewer at www.rveach.romhack.org

and you must have a Semitran or photoshop

and CDMage for extrcting and importing files from iso (why? I will say that to you by the time ;p)

if you have that all applications

download Tekken 3 iso from honmaru.pl
Honmaru Download » Bijatyki Online / Fighting Games » Tekken 3 Online » Wybierz ¬ródło <<< here is it

Główny serwer = Main server

then open it with CDMage

extract TEKKEN3.BNS (check this file and click on this icon )

then select the place of save the file in CDMage after clicking the icon

you have that file now:

Run the Tim viewer and click File/Scan RAW file and select the TEKKEN3.BNS file (NOT ISO FILE BEACUSE ALL IMAGES WILL BE THIS >>> [THIS IS A EXAMPLE] don't forget thisi a example ;p)

you can see now over 8000 images from tekken 3

(no you can't get title image or fonts)

***as interesting:

you can't get title image beacause this is any of these formats:

-Pxl
-Clt
-Anm
-Tsq
-Cel
-Bgd

(all supported psx image formats without tim's)

and don't do not be fooled with psx cd's and files looks like

-<anyname>.PIC
-<anyname>.IMG
and more...

beacause there are big files (MUNGS) with a packed images in it

***back

now save tim's which you want to mode

(most useful option is a Save Multiple Files and write <anenumber>-<anynumber>

example:

8156-8159

editing:

-with photoshop (you must have tim plugin for photoshop)
-with gimp (you must have TIMP plugin at romhacking.org)
-with semitran
-with Tim Viewer how?
1.View Clut
2.Click another colours and mode number

in my example from 39 to hmmmm... 50 ;-p

(AFTER THIS, SAVE THE IMAGE AND SWITCH WITH PREVIOUSLY ORIGINAL IMAGE WITH THE SAME NAME WHICH HAVE ORIGINAL)

after editing you must have all the images behind the file timextracts.txt (from tim viewer with all infos)

the click File/ Insert images (with opened Tekken3.bns)

and now you have...

now you have edited images with any of these metods

open CDMage and open tekken3.iso AND search import sectors option adn import tekken3.bns

ready to play

(Bump!) Sorry for deserting everyone, had a lot of time away from the emu scene...

kamilm122: Those files were archived on the site many years ago, the site itself has been online since 2000, but since GayPod wants to restrict the site to 20MB I can't update it, which is why it's stuck in 2004 or whatever (my 'local' version is more up to date but not by much, no point when there's a certain Zaibatsu taking over everything and crediting themselves for it; also uploaded a bit to Tekkenpedia too).

Zarnik: When I ripped everything ages ago, the converter I used was TIM Util (Sony/SCEI 1996), converting from TIM to a proper palletised BMP file and back was fine for me, although Tekken 2 didn't agree for some reason.

Still wish someone would come back and say something about actually reading and converting TMD files though - that's what we're really looking for!
