need help running games

although im not new to emulation, i am new to psx emulation (just got epsxe). i need help with running gran tourismo 2. the game starts, its says sony comp entertainment america, then goes the the screen that tells you to be safe. after that it goes black and doesnt do anything.

im using a p4 1500 256ram with a geforce2mx400
i have jabos opengl, null2 sound, and petes cdrom

does it help to make isos of games and run it from that?

also, alundra doesnt run at all and neither does breath of fire 4, although bof3 works almost perfect

enable accurate cdrom timing under the config ..cdrom tab i dont know if isos help but whenver i play a game i play it from an iso to me thats helping extend the life of my cd burner ..isos do help for cd related problems but your isnt a problem

thanks, just that accurate timing thing fixed a lot. gt2 works good.

alundra now goes to the main menu, after selecting start new game it goes black and it dont come back
