compiling Dolphin on linux

i read about the possibility of compile the 80% of source but with some problems and no start games, which makes it lack? what it need for?
what are their dependen ces in linux, i want learn to port dolphin to linux.

Just try it

We're not gonna hand hold you if you do it, if it were that easy we would get it working on linux ourselves. But a few months ago we cleaned up the source enough to build under linux, even though it doesn't actually work yet. We're hoping that someone will finish the job.

i know is not easy but, i really want try for learn something, how can i compile it in my linux ubuntu, now i have downloaded the svn source but have no config and make files, what are the first step to try a compilation?
