Lag in battles???? - FFVII

Well the thing is, i dont know how is the "original" game in psx console, but i use the emu and i fell a little lag in battles. When i try to same the game also get a little lag, i dont know if the memory take some time or its just the emulator.

I have Epsxe 1.6, with Pete opengl 2.8

My specs are: amd62 x2 4800, 2gb ram, asus 7300 256...

My question is, the game run like this, or maybe i need to configure something to get more fps in battles???

well wait first things first, you did dump your own BIOS and do either have the actual disk or an image made from it, correct? because you need to have your own psx console and game disk to be doing this legally in the first place so if you are doing all this legally, you should have a console and you should be able to test it and see how it really is. nothing personal here, but the way you stated things makes me slightly suspicious because we dont offer support for pirated games or pirated BIOS.

I sold my Psx, i never try to play FFVII because i never like the graphics, now i try to "re-play" all the games i have before i sell it. The only game i finish in my psx was FFVIII, now i wanna play VII and IX but i dont have my psx.

FF VII: Never play in "real" psx
FF VIII: Finish
FF IX: Just to cd 2

well in order to legally use these emulators you need to dump the BIOS from your own psx, so if you dont have one i can only conclude that you downloaded the BIOS which means i cannot help you with this due to the rules of this site. i really shouldnt even say this because i could land myself in trouble for doing so, but as a really basic answer to your issue: a small amount of lag at the end of battles in that game is somewhat common under certain plugins, and as far as i know there are not many solutions for it, you can attempt to fool around with other plugins to see what happens but nothing is really certain with this. and thats all im going to say really.

personally, i dont really care about the whole BIOS thing, in some cases at least, because dumping them is confusing for some people and the process is more complex than creating images from your own game disks. however, rules are rules and the law is the law and there are plenty of guides out there (google is your best bet) that can show you how to dump the BIOS so you are not breaking any rules or laws. i didnt know how to do it either a few years ago when i first started doing psx emulation but after reading seveal guides on how to do it, i was able to. so my point is: if i can do it, anyone should be able to. thats about as far as im willing to go here, ive said far too much already and my hands are tied at this point, sorry.

Well i that case, just close this topic. and if its posible can you tell me wich is the Admin??? because there are things i dont understand but its seem pretty illegal all of this, so i prefeer finish my embership over here...
