It's a start, but if it comes to bigger tasks they will probably slow down. We'll see what comes from it, probably it's fake, probably not. We'll see what the time will bring. And the PCSX2 menu design doesn't have to mean anything. ![]() (Does anyone remember the click-2u ps2 emulator? *lolz*)

the bit that gets me, is for people making a ps2 emulator, lack any means of PS2 terminology. for example Graphics (render acceleration) - wtf? its GS aka Graphics Synthesizer, where did they get "render acceleration" from. "XCSS (Xeon Central Sound System) emulates a little bit sound (very unstable and buggy) in the central-processing-mode." - again wtf? where did "Central Processing Mode" come from? there is only 2 modes, ADPCM decoding (normal operation) or PCM Bypass (streamed video sound and streamed music) "The pings are quite terrible" - lol i dont know where that came from, but it made me laugh.

dunno, i closed a thread about this emulator last week and cant seem to find it. What made me do this is the author said: "I will start by doing the GUI and then do the emulator part of it".... to me thats a big wtf...

I hate to drone on about the GUI, but i find it amazing how the menu design of the file menu is identical, i mean, even the seperators are in the right place and on both use the words "Run CD/DVD" slash n all .also think about it, why would you need a sub menu for the bios? take away our language/debug/misc menus, rename "run", and youve got xeon! pic attached to show what i mean with the file menu

According to the dev his got the bios emulated, it looks like utter toss to me. They somehow coded a emulated the bios in less then a month and a half...BULL***** is all I have to say. In my head this is one of two things. 1) A hoax from the start with the old cut and paste for his screens / made a gui. 2) Rip of PCSX2's source. Ether way there is like no way they got where they did in a month in a half, when it took the pcsx2 team close to two years (Yes I know they have the source open to them, its still utter crap). PS: Ref when are we going to get a "render acceleration" plugin, lazy gits! A Caution to EVERYONE! Careful not to step in the bull*****. |

Just call them out on it, ask that since there are sooo many scam and rip off attempts that they post just 30 lines of code from their emulator to help make themselves legitamite. I lol because the website layout is alot like pcsx2.nets as well.

but still i agree on the "wtf" statement. it took the pcsx2 team 2 years to make the bios show a horrible mess, theyve written an emu that looks perfect, which would take a few hundred thousand lines of code, in a month and a bit. quite impressive for a 5 man team, with only 1 of them writing the "guts" of the emu.

I must admit that these "so-called" xeon emulator devs being called newbs on their own forum is only fitting.
