Unhappy question bout no$gba 2.6a

hey everyone, recently i was using 2.6a and i experienced a massive slow down in my game. I thought it was my virus software cause it uses alot of my cpu, but once i removed it the problem continued. i even downloaded 2.6a again but the problem is still happening. Any ideas on what this could be?

P.S. Its not the games cause i just got a new one and its still slowing down from 110% to 19%

It really depends on what game that you are playing. Some games run a bit faster than others. The speed also depends a bit on your computer.

In emulation options set the 3D renderer to 'nocash', that should help.

What's the name of your virus software? I got a hunch that you've been hit by a smitfraud software. Search on google with your virus software name and see if its a smitfraud or not. You can search for a guide to remove them too.

You may want to scan your computer for any spyware. Check this thread for recommended apps.

I haven't received any spam yet. But I've only registered recently, so I'm not sure.

i tried deleting firmware and bios but it didn't help. i know its not the games cause i played 3d and 2d games and it is the same for both. after 2 minutes of playing, the emulator slows down almost to a halt.

And this screen is far from visible. You don't need to resize it when uploading to imageshack. What games are having those slowdowns? And as imlost already said, the speed also depends a bit on your computer.

i think i've figured it out. I believe that the .sav file for the newest naruto game caused the problem for all my game saves in the battery folder. once i deleted the save the emulator started working just fine.

That's... unusual... never heard of a save file making an emulator get slow. But well, I'm glad you solved your problem.
