Ultra Vortek Beta Released

"Thanks go out to Jason Smith, who has obtained permission from Beyond Games for us to release the binary to a beta version of Ultra Vortek. Ultra Vortek is one of several fighting games that shipped for the Jaguar, and this earlier version (Rev 0.94), titled Ultra Vortex, was shown at CES as a work in progress."

What I wanted to post is ... news that this game is FULLY playable on Virtual Jaguar 1.0.6 The game reguires DSP turned on, if no the game freezes on the first screen


Ahh and one question to developers: Any progress with emu?

The answer to that last question would be yes. I've been struggling for the past week to get my DSL connection to play nice with my gateway/firewall box, and I think I finally have most of the problems sorted out. CVS has already been updated with a 1.0.7 snapshot (for those brave and hearty souls) so you can see where things are going...

Niels--I've been trying to catch you on IRC, but you haven't been around. Is everything OK over there?

Hello everybody.

Sorry you didn't hear from me lately! I had some major ISP (Chello Broadband Cable ISP) problems. My connection was to damn slow and I had real problems with my e-mail and/or connection outside of the Netherlands

Anyway. All seems better now and it looks like my ISP problems are now resolved (you must know that shouting over the telephone and phoning like 10 times in 3 days really works)!

BTW, Ultra Vortek looks really sweat
