Hmm. Here I was going to yell at you to read the README but it seems that the relevant information isn't in there
![]() Anyway, to hear any sound, you have to enable the DSP--either by editing the vj.cfg file or by selecting the Settings | Misc menu option and clicking the DSP button. I would also recommend that you use the old, non-pipelined version as well, at least until the pipelined DSP has been optimized well... |

Also, you mentioned enabling sound through the settings menu... is there a GUI for the OS X version? I've only been able to launch it via the terminal. Thanks. |

The pipelined DSP made its debut in 1.0.6, and the GUI references refer to 1.0.7 which hasn't been officially released yet. Oops!
![]() There's an unofficial build posted in another active thread (I'm sure you can find it) if you want to look at 1.0.7, but if you don't, then you'll have to edit the vj.cfg file in order to turn the pipelined DSP off. The relevant line should look like: Code:
# If DSP enabled, set whether or not to use the pipelined core: 1 - use, 0 - don't use usePipelinedDSP = 0 |
