Is it just me, or does neither the sound nor the controller configuration dialog work on SSF 0.09 alpha R1? The controller config box pops up with nothing in it. It seems that some other places report very good sound emulation and ability to configure joystick input.

What joystick are you using, with what drivers? The empty config box only happened to me when I set the Slider input on my x360 pad to noncentered (using morii drivers). As for audio, make sure its not muted?

I have a USB Saturn/Dreamcast/PlayStation controller adapter that has no external drivers (Windows has them). But, even without it connected, I still get no dialog. My keyboard is USB it registers as a gaming device, or at least it did until I disabled the device entries that make it do that.

I did some experementing with my sound settings and found that I have to turn the hardware acceleration down to the 2ndvto lowest setting to get sound. I have a SB Audigy and I remember having problems with SBLive cards and acceleration...

Oh just use Daemon to mount bincue files.

btw, I worked a bit on the site. Redid the screenshot page (and added screens for about 50 more games), and updated the compatibility list. As far as pal games go, its as up to date as possible.

Thanks for this...

Daemon no is good, limit for drivers and if i'm have many titles, has mount the unit e talz..
Load images is good for any emu, command lines better :-)
More easy to work, and you use with you frontend, less loose nothing.

Newsflash: the Sega Saturn didn't have commandlines. Nor did it have frontends. And it only had 1 drive. And you had to put the disc in it every time. And no one complained.

I have a suggestion
Could you add to your site (if you have any) SSF battery saves at the last boss or end of the games you have played?

First I'd need a savegame manager to copy files inbetween the backup library and the normal internal/external ram.

Set the ram cartridge type to 4 meg ram cart, and the country to japanese. Set the EZ settings to either Standard or Highest.

If you are trying to run an original disc: rip your disc into a cd image, mount it on a virtual drive and point SSF to that drive.

Also, try using normal control pad instead of Multi Controller, a few games have compatibility issues with that (on both real and emulated saturns).

Use CDRWin instead of that piece of **** Alcohol, especially for bincue which alcohol doesnt rip right.

alcohol desyncs the audio for bincue rips, cdrwin does proper rips. Here's a guide for using CDRWin for proper dumps:
:: [ Darkwater ] :: [ Official Homepage - v2 ] :: [ DarkwaterWiki - DumpingSaturn ] ::

Area code should be pretty strightforward, if you have a japanese game set it to Japan, if you have a European game set it to Europe, I don't see whats complicated with this.

ok, I have new CDRwin version , so interface must more difference.
I have already extracted and now i have bin and cue file.
I set region to America since SF3 is a (U) version, but SSF said the same thing "disc unsuiable ... ", i changed to European too, but no use.
Anything else to help me solve this problem?
I will try with another game...
Thanks
