Question SSF and scanlines

How the heck do I turn them OFF?! They're annoying. In the options menu the checkbox is grayed out, and the INI only has some little black boxes. Help . . .

What framerate are you getting? I haven't really tried SSF in a while.. Last time I tried it, ran like 3 fps..

A higher-end system with a lot of RAM might be able to get in the area of 15-20 fps. Also, if you're main interest is speed, try using the version before the current one - it was slightly faster.

I'm gettin' about 15 fps. I'll try the earlier version, but can you turn scanlines off in THAT one?

Yeah.

All you have to do is open ssf.ini, look for

# TV monitor mode (ON or OFF)
# default = ON
TVMonitorMode = ON

and change it to "OFF".
