Does the Sega Saturn have a Z-buffer?

For any saturn techi peeps.. Saturn emulation on PC's would be sweet if the Saturn had a z-buffer..

I have no idea.. but it would be nice to see Saturn games with Anisotropic + Triliear filtering.

Saturn emulation seems to be progressing well. At least that's the conclusion I draw from Satourne team's progress lately.

It would be cool to see a Saturn emulator taking advantage of modern (and not so modern) GPU's, like psx emulators do. But one must not forget that Saturn emulation is still on it's first steps.
