Trouble with Panzer Dragoon Saga

Hello, I'm having a bit of trouble getting past a problem spot in this game. I'm using SSF v0.11 alpha, taken from the homepage, on both medium and high EZ settings. The game plays fine up until the Guardian Dragon fight on disc 2. In this fight, during the break where the dragon blows up the ship, when the dialogue finishes, the camera just rotates around you and the enemy without loading the next segment. I've seen other people with this problem, but with no solution. Any tips?

Well, i got past that part by setting the EZ settings to highest compatibility. Now the same thing is happening right before the final boss of the game, and I can't set the settings any higher...can anyone out there please help me?
