Two things: 1. DS, leaving the project will only make the haters think they have won. Stick with and show them that their the ones who are not contributing anything. 2. @ES is a great piece of software and I'm sure @ruantec would tell you that it has took him and several other's input to get it to the point it is today. Advice, ideas, and testing helps any project immensely.1 Keep up the good work and knock our socks off with the first official release.

I just made a discovery! The people that have been targeting me are big fans of Gamex and Hyperspin! From what I can tell a few fans of both have gotten together to target me (Around 20 - 30) cause they feel I am the weak link in @ES I am thinking the better option would be to disable PM's and to remove my msn addy from this account! Then to re-join @ES and to put my head down and to show them that they do have a program to fear in @ES I feel that this would be in the best interests of ngemu and @ES! |

mmmm interesting.......... i have to say that @ES wasn´t created to compete with Gamex or Hyperspin. it follows a different path and methods as it doesn´t run the emulators the way Gamex or Hyperspin does. but in other hands i have to admit that @ES could be a mayor competitor of both apps. the old version of @ES wasn´t a big competition because the engine wasn´t powerfull enough to keep up with Gamex or Hyperspin but the new one is a whole new story... i´ve made the engine more powerfull then ever and even if i hate competition i have to say that the new engine is more than capable to do everything Gamex or Hyperspin can or will do and even more.... and also kick both apps asses without a problem. with the new methods and classes am creating atm am using more and more @ES engine so soon enough i´ll show the true @ES power and strength which is packed in this new and fresh engine. eitherway i want to repeat that i do not created @ES to compete with other apps and that it follows a differet path aswell. about a half year ago i tested Hyperspin and did like it... i like the arcade style but configuration seems a bit confuse there if you ask me... another thing i didn´t like is the way they advertise the app by showing a video of games running while you´re browsing them which in reality isn´t the case... maybe they´ve changed that now and show small videos probably but it wasn´t the case about 6 months ago where i downloaded over 1gb of data and then i was dissapointed of what i saw. other thing i would like to say is that @ES wasn´t designed to work on fullscreen mode only but am planning to have both... small and fullscreen mode which will be switcheable anytime. in conclution i don´t see any reason for app battle nor competition.. if you like Gamex then go for it... if you like Hyperspin then "wonderfull" or if you like @ES then "you´re welcome" that´s it! ![]() Quote:

GameEx can screw itself. However, HyperSpin is amazing, those people are just being douchebags.

Those bloated pieces of crap? @ES beats them both >.> Who needs all that **** when @ES itself is under 1MB (last time I checked.....) @rauntec: there's a .NET wrapper for BASS, then you can add MOD/S3M/IT/etc support easily.......Beats the crap used for Winamp MOD playback too. |

Forget all the haters, Gamex never looked that good to me, I have just built an arcade racing mame cab and I admit I am using Hyperspin at the minute but as soon as you implement full screen then the my decision will be made oh and ruantec the videos/themes for hyperspin have to all be added manually, it is fairly easy for a tech minded person to pick up but as you said before it is very cumbersome and time consuming to configure. I always liked the simplistic and visually pretty interface @ruantec offered, Keep up the good work CharlieRam |

about the fullscreen mode.... the concept has changed a bit since the last time i showed the old concept here at ngemu.... ShaddiX have been doing a great job and provided me some more features and concept that will make the fullscreen mode a whole new experience. the new classes i´ve been working on are the ones required for the fullscreen mode so the work is about to start in a week or so. i´ll take some holidays soon so i´ll have some time to code lots of stuff and bring them here

Tried this application in more depth and must say i'm very impressed, graphics wise very impressing shows a lot of promise, also the audio quality impressed me the most it beats stocked winamp and probably its at least as good as foobar a application i certainly will keep my eyes better on (and one which will probably replace winamp when its out XD).
