I may change the cottage comp to a p4 but it would be great if your app would run on that reasonably well. If I can help make that happen in any way or you would like more details on the box let me know.

Maybe you could let me know the min/ planned requirements as you know of them thus far as well?

Thanks for reading this anyways.

the new version is indeed faster and it make use of your hardware capabilities but a p3 at 1ghz isnīt much nowdays... i mean with that hardware there is no much room to create some fancy stuff... anyways i tested the new @ES on a P3 800mhz and it was ok to work with. so iīll see what i can do on that.

Not very useful (at all) but hey.
thatīs beeing done as i write this post.. the covers concept has changed and so other stuff and now you will be able to add several pictures(overs, front, back whatever) to every game and information about the game, publisher and other stuff.

Well you must know that I am not asking for a miracle with that depot, lol but maybe some tech wiz in order to make it "lite" might not be a bad option in the "tools" section if your programing will allow for such an option. I will help as I can for such a request. I must not be the only one seeing your app as the ultimate pc media app to hit general users in a long time. Regardless, I hope nothing but success in all your directions @ruantec. There are many lite pc's still in existence that are capable of dvd/divix/xvid/sega/nes/snes/n64/psx etc without any problems... it would be nice if your app didn't exclude those pc's if possible.

thanks for reading & I hope you see my point.

i can understand your point and it makes much sense to me so iīll do my best to make @ES work fine even on older computers

I wonder how well my now-main computer with a AMD Athlon X2 BE-2350 @ 2.6GHz and a GeForce 6150SE onboard GPU will fare with @ES. (I sold my high-end PC)

I figure the CPU won't be a problem at all, but the GPU may be a little lacking. (Its roughly the equivalent of the GeForce FX5200 I had years ago ). I might get a cheap GPU to throw into the PC though.
