i need help with ff7 battle menu!!!

Ok i loaded final fantasy 7 using PSXeven version 0.19. I'm using Pete's D3D graphics plugin (version 1.76), Eternal sound plugin (version 1.41), SSSPSX control plugin. At the beginning scene where cloud gets off the train and fights those two first soldier opponents, it goes into the battle screen. So cloud if facing the opponents and the battle is missing the menu at the bottom where it has the options/words for attack, magic, item, etc. There's a single bar at the bottom, and it appears to be a life bar but there is no wording around it like hp. Can anybody help? All my plugins are set to their default settings. I tested the emulator and the same settings with Vagrant Story and Tekken3 without any problems. Thanks! Here are my specs:

computer:
HP Pavilion dv5237 laptop
Intel Centrino Core Duo Processor (2 x 1.8GHz)
Windows XP
2 Gigs of Ram
Intel 128 MB Integrated Graphics Card

Emulator:
PSXeven version 0.19
Pete's D3D graphics plugin (version 1.76)
Eternal sound plugin (version 1.41)
SSSPSX controller plugin

no problem, if you want you can switch to Pete's OpenGL or even OpenGL2 plugin if your graphic card is good enough, here is the best FF7 config.

I recommend using OpenGL with that onboard video, although you will probably have to set framebuffer textures to 1 and framebuffer access to 0. If you try setting those to settings that would normally show FB stuff, you'll get a black screen during those events at best, and at worst, major slowdowns.

That's wrong because you hijacked someone else's thread and posted a question which has nothing to do with the subject of the thread.
It would be the best if you make your own thread, that way people can focus on solving your problem without first reading
the troubleshooting of the current thread.
